Philipp Hammig's status as one of the world great flute and piccolo makers has been secured over many years of production. This example is a modern flute with all the extras. We serviced this flute a couple of years ago, since when it has hardly been used. We have nevertheless checked it over ready for sale.

The build-quality is extra-ordinary, and the attention to detail noteable, such as in the white footjoint rollers. The keys fall naturally under the fingers. There is a real feeling of solidity and dependability, combined with a verve as the flute comes to life when you blow it. With a big rich voice, it makes an interesting alternative to Japanese models with the same specification, and a good-value one too.
