The addition of two Bigio headjoints, with different embouchures and styles, increases the versitility of the flute and allows a wide range of dynamics and colour.

Robert Bigio is one of the finest contemporary flutemakers. He specialises in wood flutes and headjoints, and many hundreds of players around the world possess and enjoy the products from his London workshop. With this flute he has made a new wooden body with a modern scale, and it is superb. The silver Rudall Carte mechanism is amongst the most beautiful and makes this a flute with a classical heritage and modern playing characteristics.

The flute has a rich and powerful voice. , The standard Bigio headjoint is free-blowing, while the fluted headjoint has a little more resonance and resistance.

The flute is in excellent condition. There are no cracks and the keys work like new. The flute comes in a beautiful bespoke case by Andrew Crawford.
